Revised services between London Kings Cross and Peterborough / Cambridge on Sunday 24 September

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work on various lines on the route between London Kings Cross and Peterborough / Cambridge. Various lines will be closed throughout the day.

Great Northern

From the start of service until 07:30 on Sunday, trains from London Kings Cross will start at Finsbury Park.

From 22:35 on Saturday until the end of service on Sunday, trains between Hitchin and Peterborough / Cambridge will be revised.

Until 01:20, journey times between Hitchin and Biggleswade may be extended by up to 30 minutes. Trains will not call at Arlesey. Some services may terminate at Stevenage and be replaced by a bus to Peterborough / Letchworth Garden City.

From 01:20 until 08:00, buses will replace trains between Stevenage and Cambridge / Peterborough.

From 08:00 until 10:00, trains from London Kings Cross to Peterborough will terminate at Hitchin and a replacement bus will run between Hitchin and Peterborough.

After 10:00 until the end of service, trains from London Kings Cross to Peterborough will depart 5 minutes earlier and will not call at Arlesey.

Customers for Arlesey are advised to travel to Biggleswade and take the next service back towards Arlesey.

Virgin Trains East Coast

Until 10:00, trains will not run from / to London Kings Cross. Trains will either start / terminate at Peterborough or York.

There is no alternative transport between London Kings Cross and Peterborough / York and customers should use alternative services.

Ticket acceptance:

Great Northern until 07:30, you may use your ticket on London Underground services between London Kings Cross and Finsbury Park.

Bicycles:
