Buses replace trains between Stirling and Perth / Dundee on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work in the Stirling area, closing all lines.

Glasgow Queen Street - Aberdeen / Inverness / Elgin

Services will be retimed and diverted via Fife. Buses will run between Glasgow and Perth / Dundee via Stirling.

On Saturday only, a reduced service will run between Glasgow Queen Street and Aberdeen.

Edinburgh - Dunblane

Buses will replace trains between Stirling and Dunblane.

Due to road closures at Dunblane station we are unable to access this station with a large coach. To keep you moving we have mini bus connections getting you where you need to be.

Customers from services via Perth & Dundee are to use mini bus connections to Dunblane by alighting at Gleneagles. Customers travelling from services via Stirling towards Dunblane are to use mini bus connections at Stirling station.

If you are travelling from Polmont to Dunblane we have mini bus connections at Bridge of Allan to keep you moving.

Edinburgh - Perth via Stirling

Services will be diverted via Fife, calling at Haymarket only. If you are travelling to stations via Stirling, you should use an alternative train service to Stirling then change for a replacement bus service from Stirling to Perth.

London Kings Cross - Inverness

Virgin Trains East Coast services to and from Inverness will be diverted between Haymarket and Perth (via Inverkeithing). Buses will run between Edinburgh and Perth, calling at Falkirk, Stirling and Gleneagles. On Sunday, trains towards Edinburgh will also call at Dunblane.
