Engineering work is taking place between Glasgow and Motherwell, with some lines closed.
Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Motherwell.
Trains between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts will be diverted via Whifflet, not calling at Uddingston or Bellshill. Passengers travelling to or from these stations are advised to use trains between Glasgow and Lanark and change at Holytown for alternative services to / from Edinburgh.
Trains between Glasgow Central and Motherwell / Lanark will be diverted via Kings Park, not calling at Cambuslang, Motherwell or Sheildmuir. These services will call additionally at Holytown.
Trains between Balloch and Larkhall will be amended to run between Balloch and Rutherglen only. Buses will run between Bridgeton and Newton to connect with alternative services to and from Larkhall. Passengers are advised to change at Bridgeton for the bus service. There is no train / bus interchange at Rutherglen due to the distance between the station and the main road.
Trains between Glasgow Central and Newton will be extended to run to and from Larkhall.
Trains between Milngavie and Motherwell will run between Milngavie and Rutherglen only.
Buses will run between Bridgeton and Motherwell via Hamilton Central, calling at all stations. Buses will also run between Bellshill / Wishaw and Motherwell.
Virgin Trains East Coast
On Sunday, 16:30 London Kings Cross to Glasgow Central will be replaced by a bus between Edinburgh and Motherwell.
On Monday, the 06:50 Glasgow Central to London Kings Cross will be replaced by a bus between Motherwell and Edinburgh.
Passengers travelling to / from Glasgow should use ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street.
