Travel times to Glasgow
Virgin Trains East Coast depart Glasgow Central for Edinburgh’s Waverley station every hour. From here you can catch connecting trains to Aberdeen and Inverness as well as trains south to English destinations such as York, Newcastle and London. There is also a daily direct service to Glasgow from London King’s Cross, an extension of the London to Newcastle service.
