Please note: Entry into Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounges is now free to holders of Virgin Trains East Coast First Advance and Rewards First Class tickets.

  • Rewards First Class Lounge Passes entitle you to unlimited access at any Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounge, within  the validity of the Pass.  Please check opening times of the Lounge(s) you wish to use.
  • Use your Pass anytime you want, no matter which operator you’re travelling with.
  • First Class Lounges are located in the following stations: London King’s Cross, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh Waverley, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Darlington, Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.
  • Entry into Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounges is free to holders of Virgin Trains East Coast First Advance and Rewards First Class tickets.

How to use

One Day Pass

  1. Print your confirmation email. This is your One Day Pass – so keep it in a safe place.
  2. On your chosen date, simply present your Pass (your confirmation email) to a member of the First Class Lounge team at the Lounge you’d like to enter.
  3. Don’t forget to keep hold of your Pass in case you want to use it at another lounge on the same day.

Three, Six or Twelve Month Pass

  1. When you wish to use your Pass at a Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounge, simply present it to a member of the First Class Lounge team, and off you go.

Terms & Conditions

First Class Lounge One Day Pass

  • The Rewards One-Day Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounge Pass is valid only on the date selected and is for one person. No changes can be made after redemption.
  • The pass entitles the holder to entry into the following Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounges: London King's Cross, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh Waverley, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Darlington, Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.
  • The pass may be used more than once and in more than one Lounge, on the specified date.
  • This reward cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or re-sold.
  • Virgin Trains East Coast is not responsible if your pass is lost or damaged. Access will not be permitted into the First Class Lounge if a valid Pass is not presented upon arrival.

First Class Lounge 3, 6 and 12 Month Pass

  • The valid until date is stated on the front of the Pass. No changes can be made after redemption.
  • The Pass is only valid at Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounges: London King’s Cross, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh Waverley, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Darlington, Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster stations.
  • The Pass can be used by the named holder for unlimited use at any Virgin Trains East Coast First Class Lounge until the date on the front of the Pass.
  • The Pass cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or re-sold.
  • Virgin Trains East Coast is not responsible if your Pass is lost, stolen or damaged and replacement Passes will not be issued. Access will not be permitted into the Lounge if you do not present a valid Pass upon arrival. You may be asked by a member of staff to present photographic identification.
