Outsmart the British summer
You can now book 6 months in advance
That’s right, you can now book our lowest fares for all weekday journeys up to 24 weeks ahead of travel. Just now, you can book right up until:
This means you can escape the traffic-filled roads, out of town airports and enjoy pre-reserved seats with loads of legroom. Plus, booking in advance means you can travel for a whole lot less, leaving you with more spending money to enjoy and your summer plans sorted. Blinder!
We can't promise we'll always be able to offer this extended booking period, but we can always let you know when the cheapest tickets do become available with our ticket alerts.
It’s very rare for train times to change, but if that should happen on this kind of Advance booking we’ll let you know well in advance so you can change or refund your ticket without any fees.
How to Book
You can book Advance Tickets 24 weeks on our website, the same way you normally would. Just select dates with a range of up to 24 weeks on the routes above. Unfortunately, you can’t do this through our mobile site just yet.
If you want to make a booking further ahead than 12 weeks, you won’t be able to select Self-Print as a delivery option (you can still choose to collect your ticket on departure or to have them posted though). There’s a booking form on this page that you can use to buy tickets, alternatively just click on the ‘Buy tickets’ button at the top of every page of our website.
Weekday tickets can now be booked up to and including:
Dates excluded from travel
- Bank holidays
